St. Stephen’s College Admission 2024

St. Stephen’s College will accept the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) scores for its UG admissions. For its PG admissions, it will accept the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) scores. The CUET Result 2022 was published on September 16, 2022. The DUET PG exam will be conducted on October 17,18,19,20, and, 21, in a subject-wise manner. Since the CUET result is out, the St. Stephen’s College admission 2022 for its UG courses will now move forward. Students are required to register themselves on the CSAS portal which was activated by DU on September 12, 2022. The second phase of CSAS will be conducted from September 26, 2022, to October 10, 2022. All further details are mentioned below:

  • The admission process through the CSAS has 3 phases.
  • The first phase began on September 12, 2022, when Delhi University launched the CSAS portal. In this phase, students need to apply to Delhi University.
  • The second phase will be held from September 26, 2022, to October 10, 2022. Students have to select their preferences for colleges and courses in this phase. The CUET Samarth and DU guidelines advise students to choose as many preferences as possible. This will avoid problems during seat allotment.
  • Both phase 1 and phase 2 of CSAS DU will remain active till October 10, 2022.
  • The CSAS registration site is ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
  • The third phase of CSAS includes the tentative allotment of seats.
  • The admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as declared on students’ CUET Result 2022 scorecards.
  • The university will auto-calculate the programme-specific merit score as per the eligibility criteria.
  • Once the preference-filling phase of CSAS portal 2022 will end, seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
  • Seat allotment will have at least 4 rounds which may go up to 5 or 6 rounds if needed.
  • There will also be a Mid-Entry window that will open soon after the second round of seat allotment. This is a single-time window as of now, but it may reopen if Delhi University decides to reopen it.
  • An important for students to note is that they must accept their seats within the mentioned deadlines. In case they fail to do this, it will be considered a “Decline” from their side and the seat will be passed on to the next student.
  • Once the seat is accepted, it will be followed by the payment of St. Stephen’s College fees and admission confirmation.
  • The date of the first list of admissions will be declared by October 10, 2022.
  • Classes for first-year undergraduate students will commence on November 1, 2022.
