Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce admission to various UG and PG courses is through CUET exam. CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled between May 15 and May 31, 2024. National Testing Agency (NTA) will release CUET 2024 results on June 30, 2024. After the results are out, DU will release the required marks for Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce admission to various courses.
The detailed SGGSCC admission 2024 process is mentioned below for the CUET-based courses:
- For the further process for UG courses, the CSAS registration and course selection are the major steps.
- The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) consists of 3 phases.
- In the first phase, aspiring candidates apply to Delhi University.
- They select their preferences for college and course combinations in the second phase.
- In the third phase, seat allotment takes place.
- After their acceptance of seats and payment of the SGGSCC fees, the admission process will be completed.
- Admissions will strictly be done on the basis of the “Subject-based Normalised Scores”. These scores are mentioned by the NTA on the CUET Result scorecards.
- Students will be selecting their programmes and colleges in this phase.
- The DU and CUET Samarth guidelines have instructed students to select as many combinations of colleges and courses as possible. This will ease the process of seat allotment.
- The university will also auto-calculate the programme-specific merit scores of students.
- Once the preference-filling will be completed, the CSAS seat-allotment phase will start. This will be the third and last phase where seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
- A tentative basis implies that if a candidate accepts the allotted seat within the mentioned deadline, the seat will be confirmed. However, if he or she fails to do so, the seat will be considered a “Decline” and passed on to the next deserving candidate on the list.
- A two-day window for students will be available. This will be an opportunity for reordering the college and course preferences.
- There will also be a Mid-Entry window apart from this, which will be activated after the second round of seat-allotment. This will be a one-time window as of now but may reopen if needed.
