Miranda House University College for Women Campus
Miranda House College is residing in the North Campus of Delhi University, a unique heritage building, and state-of-art infrastructure makes the architecture of Miranda House College one of a kind. The warm red-bricked walls with long cool spacious corridors add up to the aesthetics of the college. The adjective “lush green” would not be enough to describe the appealing rich plant diversity of the campus. Miranda House College has a strong IT backbone that is comprised of National Knowledge Network, WiFi & Internet, Digital Resource Centres, Technology enabled classrooms and Digital Notice Boards.
Fulfilling its inherent mission to the hilt, the Miranda House Library has adopted the motto ‘Right document to the right reader at the right time’. The library has two digital resource centers and has 6 special sections- Textbook, General Books, Reference Tools, Reserves, Periodicals, and Braille Books. The library has a total of 43270 e-journals to its name and more than 100 databases are available. It also provides access to more than 97,000 e-books to the students.
A great initiative by Miranda House College is the Amba Dalmia Digital Resource Centre for Visually Challenged students. It provides an enabling environment and assistive technology to the visually challenged students. Having the privilege of hosting many maestros on its stage, the auditorium of MHC has a seating capacity of over 450 people.
The seminar hall of Miranda House is fed with a high-quality sound system, wall mounted speakers, conference table mics, roving mics, lapel mics, provision for recording roof mounted high luminosity projection system with a seating capacity of 125 people. Used as a learning studio with arched roofs, the Heritage Hall of the college lives up to its name. MHC also has a newly constructed semicircular hall which is used as Students Activity Centre.
To provide the best sports facility to their students, MHC has a sports ground, an Outdoor Bounce Back Shock Proof Surface Basketball Court and a Tennis Court. For fitness enthusiasts, the college has a Fitness Centre which is very well equipped with weight and cardio training equipment. The cafeteria of the college has high sanitation standards and provides the best food and drinks to its students at an affordable price. The medical support unit of the college is available 24×7.
The college has a Psycho-Social Counseling & Guidance Centre and provides academic counseling to its students. The hostel of Miranda House College is one of the best hostels of Delhi University Colleges. It consists of 172 rooms with 24×7 WiFi facilities. The English style hostel mess has a seating capacity of 200 students at a time. The hostel has a fully furnished kitchen for the students. The other MH hostel facilities include 24×7 electricity back-up, water supply, launderette, medical facilities, a common room, and a guest house.
Miranda House Placement Cell
The placement cell of Miranda House serves as the primary portal of interaction between the various companies and the students. The cell has a systematic placement process in place. The Miranda House placement cell has also recently collaborated with many prestigious companies like DE Shaw, ZS Associates, Matchbox Pictures, ICICI, Outlook, Oberoi Group ABP News, Thomson Reuters, and Urban Company. Miranda House follows a 5-step process for successful placements of students. Below we explain the Miranda House placement process:
Step 1: Pre-placement Talk
The placement cell conducts a session with the prospective students before starting the entire placement activities. It briefs students about the details and other important attributes of the process at Miranda House.
Step 2: Submission of CVs
Students are required to submit their CVs to the placement coordinators. They check the CVs and suggest any improvements if needed.
Step 3: Group Discussions and Online Tests
The Miranda House placement cell conducts group discussions with students to train them for their actual interview processes. It also conducts online tests to check the aptitude and other abilities of students.
Step 4: Interview
The prospective recruiters conduct the interviews of students.
Step 5: Job Offers
The selected students are passed on their job offers either directly or through the placement cell.

Miranda House Placement Report
As of now, the official reports of Miranda House placement for 2021 is available. During the 2021 placement, 104 students were placed. The Miranda House highest package was Rs 19.2 lakh per annum. The average package on the other hand was Rs 6 lakh per annum. There was a rise of 10% in the highest CTC offered to the UG students as compared to the previous year's placements. For the Miranda House placement package for PG students, there was a rise of 11%. Moreover, the highest package for the PG students was Rs 8 lakh and the average package was Rs 5.3 lakh. 16 students were placed from the PG batches as per the Miranda House placement cell report.
