The Placement Cell is the product of a well-organised connection with industry and ongoing career counselling for students. Students are regularly counselled about their professional objectives and alternatives from the beginning of the program, which is then fiercely followed up with possible companies for participation in the Placement Cell's placement programme. This not only aids students in obtaining their "dream" careers but also aids visiting placement businesses in recognizing the "perfect" candidate for their company. The Jamia Hamdard placement guidelines, on the other hand, will govern the placement.

The cell's placement-related activities are overseen by the Jamia Hamdard Placement Committee, which is made up of faculty from several departments within the Placement Cell. Students in their final year from other branches are also appointed to the committee. The Charge of the Placement Cell chairs the committee, with the Manager of Corporate Relations serving as a member secretary. In July, the placement committee is normally created.

Students in their final year who want to use the cell for placement assistance must first register. Those who do not require any type of placement assistance do not need to register. Payment of placement registration fees set by the Placement Cell on a regular basis is required to register for placement. For the benefit of students and potential recruiters, the Placement Cell prepares a Placement Brochure including information about students who are ready to be placed. After that, the brochure is distributed to potential employers. This leaflet includes a list of students who have applied for placement.

Students who do not pass the academic tests and other requirements at the end of the course will be removed from the placement process and will not be eligible for campus placement activities.
