Hansraj College Admissions 2024
The University has announced the publication dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists, which will be available on August 1, August 10, and August 22, 2023, for all categories. Admission at Hansraj College for undergraduate studies is based on the NTA's Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Furthermore, beginning with the academic year 2024-2024, the college will offer PG courses through CUET-PG. Students who wish to apply for Hansraj College admission 2024 (DU-affiliated) must enrol for and take the CUET tests. Those who pass the entrance exam can subsequently register for final seat allocation through DU's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
Seat allocation for admission to Hansraj College or other DU-affiliated colleges is done in multiple rounds based on multiple factors such as the combination of college and selected course, the candidate's position in the merit list, the students' category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR), and the availability of seats.
Since the results for CUET are out, Hansraj College will now prepare its merit list and counselling schedule. Students need to register on the Common Seat Allocation System portal or the CSAS portal. Apart from this, they must also register at Hansraj College. The detailed admission process for UG courses based on the CUET result is mentioned below:
- The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) has 3 phases.
- The first phase is applying to the University of Delhi (DU).
- The second phase consists of the selection of the preferred colleges and courses by students.
- The third phase is the seat allotment and admission confirmation.
- As per theDU and CUET Samarth guidelines, students should select as many preferred choices of courses and colleges as possible. This is advised to avoid problems during the allotment of seats.
- After the preference-filling phase of CSAS portal 2022 will be over, seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
- Apart from this, a two-day window will also open for the reordering of the college and course preferences of students.
- A one-time Mid-Entry window will open after the second phase. Delhi University may reopen this window depending upon the student requests that come in for Mid-Entry.
- An important step during the CUET admission process is the acceptance of seats by students. They must accept their seats within the mentioned deadlines. In case they fail to do so, it will be considered a “Decline” from their end and the seat will be given to the next eligible candidate.
- The DUET PG exam is likely to be held in October as the official reports.
